In jail Chris Brown-suspension violated in connection with the case of beating Rihanna

Chris Brown was arrested early Friday afternoon at Los Angeles and held without possibility of bail .

The popular singer of R & B Chris Brown was arrested Friday in Malibu western Los Angeles and detained for violation of the suspension , authorities said . The sheriff's office in Los Angeles , said the 24 year old singer was arrested after a warrant was issued for violation of suspension in connection with his conviction for assault in 2009 against then girlfriend also singer Rihanna.

The Chris Brown was arrested early Friday afternoon at Los Angeles (2100 GMT) and held without possibility of bail . The authorities did not specify the exact violation of Brown's suspension , but the website TMZ.com that specializes in matters concerning celebrities says the singer was discharged from rehab for ' violation of rules' .

Chris Brown was at this center for about four months after the court order in February. The court after several violent incidents that could endanger the suspension had then ordered the singer to continue detoxifying , alerting him that any breach will lead to jail .

Representatives of the singer refused to comment on the detention of Brown , who was sentenced in 2009 to 180 days of community service and five years probation for the beating of Rihanna.
